Lombardi's on the Bay

Anyone ever go to a wedding here/have a wedding here? We're interested and I'm just curious how it went! :D

We looked at Lombardi's but booked the North Ritz Club. Lombardi's was definitely beautiful and they are known for their amazing food. I just wasn't sure about the flooring in the room. The whole room is all tile with no distinct seperation for the dancefloor. Also, theres a restaurant in the same building and we weren't to fond of that. If you can get past those two things, I'm certain you would have a great reception, it is beautiful. They gave us great pricing too when we went if that helps at all.

Thanks! Yeah the flooring kind of threw me off as well! We have to go talk to them some more this week and we'll see :)

i am getting married there in 11 days!!!

i am obvi biased..i have a few pics saved on my comp of what the room looks like all set up and some pics from an actual wedding there

If you can wait 11+ days, Ill let you know how it goes

Ive heard nothing but good things!
if you do speak with anyone, do yourself a favor and work with ann marie- i wouldnt work with anyone else...and request that you work with her for your entire experience if you book there
also make sure you tell them you want a tasting and get it in writing, this is what we did

the food was amazing!

also the restaurant is completely separate from the hall...2 completely separate entrances and you will never mix with the restaurant guests for bathrooms or outdoor space etc.
the restaurant guests enter from the main entrance..
wedding guests pull up to the back and enter under an awning and directly into a foyer connecting to the CH room

i ate at LOB while there was a wedding going on, barely saw any of the wedding activities except when the bride went outside to take pics, otherwise we never would have known there was a wedding there

Hate to be the one to tell you but you can call and confirm.. she just told me yesterday that they just changed where the guests enter from and they'll be coming through the front entrance now. So if you want the back just call and see but that's what she told me.

I'll be dealing with Albina Lombardi from the Holbrook location - I have to call her to set up an appt. She told me to just swing in there and then come see her for pricing (My brothers getting married at Villa Lombardi's and I happened to just go in with his Fiance and we started talking about my wedding haha).

I love Lombardi's food so I know it won't disappoint - just the lack of the dance floor and it not being defined threw me off but we'll see. Can you FM me those pics?? Yesterday it was set up for a shower so it wasn't right for a wedding.. I'd really appreciate it!

(I love how our names match! :D)

Yes, they changed the entrance so all restaurant guests and wedding guest come in the same entrance. I don't get why they would ever do that since there are two seperate entrances available.

I'm sure it does look beautiful set-up. Post some pics if you can, I'd love to have my engagement party @ Lombardis on the Bay.

11 days!! Ahh, I bet you can't wait :)

I was at a wedding there last Sept. Food was amazing and both the CH and reception room were beautiful. (It was before I was engaged, so I didn't pay super close attention ), but overall, it was a great wedding.

I spoke to LOB, they said this is not true

Guests are to enter around the back where the cocktail hour room is or where the ceremony area is

they said if a guest walks into main entrance, they have no control over that but the general rule is they enter through the hall entrance NOT the main/restaurant entrance.

I believe the girl I spoke with was Sophia. She said they use the front entrance only.

Yeah I've spoken to Sophia 2x this week (I swung in again to take another look haha) and my mom asked that again and she said they changed it and they only enter through the front entrance because of the valet parking and they only have the one spot out front. I'd keep checking that over and over if that's what you want :)

Im not concerned the BM herself was shocked that this was even mentioned or an issue

Guests cannot be walking through a kitchen area to get to a wedding, it makes no sense

my ceremony is outdoors so Im not concerned, my guests will be entering through the awning by the ceremony area
and my BM agreed that this is how it is done
