I booked Lombardis on the sound for my June 12, 2009, Can anyone give me pluses, minuses and tips...

I would get a specific number and extension to talk to your banquet manager or go to person- they have a lot of personnel and you want the right answers, asap
also, I would meet the staff for your day ahead of time to get them to warm up a bit- I've heard the staff is a bit cold and detached
enjoy the food though!!

I did get that feeling from the woman who showed me around, but i won't really have much interaction with them until next year. It feels like I am supposed to be doing stuff with the catering hall, but i guess all in due time! Thanks for your suggestions...

Sorry 08 bride crashing! I had my wedding at LOTS and you have nothing to worry about!! Everything was perfect. I too was worried after reading not such great things on these boards, but i was more than pleased with them. The service was great- not one complaint! The food was awesome and everyone raved about our wedding. Hope this helps!!!

My parents just attended a wedding there a year ago (I looked at it for my wedding too) and they said it was beautiful! The food was amazing and there was plenty of it! The only thing they said they didn't like was having to go down to the basement for the bathrooms...but hey... You will have your own bathroom!!!! Good Luck! And I will pray that you have beautiful weather too!

The food was ridiculous at the showcase, I will have to make sure I don't stuff myself (usually the bride and groom don't eat too much) the bathroom thing bothered me too, but there is a bridal suite so that works for me! I hope the weather holds out for me too. This year the day was great but it poured a week before and after

I just had my engagement party there and my wedding is going to be at Villa Lombardi's. The food and service were amazing, not to mention that BEAUTIFUL view!!!
The only complaint I had was that they messed up the name on the cake. It said DON instead of DAN. We just laughed it off though.
You have nothing to worry about.

Ohhh and you are going to have to ROLL your guests out the door because they amount of food is CRAZZZZZZZY!!! Sooo delicious.. I have never seen a cocktail hour like that in my liiiiiife
