London in February?

I was thinking of taking a 4 day weekend for presidents day with my husband - I want to surprise him with a trip - I know he loves London - and I have never been, so it would be perfect, but is it too cold and yucky to go in feb??

Re: London in February?

It can be, but worth it. During tourist season you could never see enough of london b/c it is so croweded with tourists.

We ususally go in January & one year it was warm, anoth year it snowed, but mostly it is temperate, just a bit damp.

I highly recommend checking out the 'Weekend Jaunts/Flings' on Virginvacations.com.......there are some really fantastic deals for that time of year!

Have fun!

Re: London in February?

It never really gets super cold here, so chances are it's warmer here in Feb than it is in New York. Plus, there's something about sitting in a cozy pub when it's cold outside that's really nice.

It's also super cheap to come in February. It may be a little cold for sightseeing, but you can get some great deals on shows and stuff.

ETA: By the way, I live in London, in case you haven't guessed FM me if you have any questions!
