i know exactly how u feel. my fh is going to start working from 2-m-11am. i'm only going to see him on fridays or once a week now. i don't live with him, so its extra hard... you're not alone!!

so not alone-FI works 3-1 am and I never ever see him during the week-just on the weekends...

just think you have the rest of your lives

Aww, don't worry Cindy, we're here for you!!!!! I know what it's like, I work 9am-7pm and FH works 1pm-11pm. So we really only see each other on the weekends too. It just makes us appreciate that time together so much more!!

Did you see my pathetic New Years post??
FH is a cop and works the midnights and I am a teacher so we eat dinner together at least but rarely do we see each other for other things. It ***** but that is his job.
We are all here for ya! Everyone on here is so great and nice so on those lonely nights...hang out here!

Fh and I don't live together and i'm in queens and hes in west islip. We see each other usually only on weekends and occasionally during the week, so I know how you feel.

That was my life the past 6 months while FH was in the police academy! It was horrible at first, but I got used to it. Now he's home all the time and I have to share the remote and cook dinner!

Cindy we're here for you!!!!!!! I feel your pain too....fh has been working nights since the summer ended & I teach & get home by 4. He sleeps until 7 & then we eat dinner together but then he showers & is out the door. Then it seems weekends we're running around to friends & family....

I agree we need a late night no-men crew

I know the feeling. FH works 7p-7a - but with commuting he's gone from 4pm to 8am....and I'm on the train by 6:30am......so we cross every other week or so.

Okay, I definitely think we need a support group here. Thanks ladies! I feel better now that I am not alone. It's just tough because we don't live together. But I guess absence will make the heart grow fonder or some nonsense like that.
