Long and Narrow dance floor

Long and Narrow dance floor

My FI and I looked at the Larkfield Manor and thought it was nice, but the ballroom and dance floor is really long and narrow. Did anyone have or attend a wedding there and was the dance floor awkward? Did anyone have a wedding somewhere else with a long dance floor that you liked or didn't like?

Thanks

as soon as I read the subject Larkfield Manor popped into my head. thats the only reason i didnt book there- the dance floor was way too small.

the dance floor in the smaller room is better, but I have too many people.

Thanks for the reply. Where did you book instead?

The dance floor is one of the reasons FH and I booked the Larkfield. We love the fact that every table is right on the dance floor and that no one will have to strain to see our first dance, the toasts, etc. Plus, people can congregate in the center to dance or they can spread out all over and just have a good time.
