Does anyone know if I have to get a permit to take our engagement photos there?

Not sure but I imagine your photographer should know? Or call city hall. I know after may 31 that begins beach season and all rules are enforced but before that they are pretty lenient about stuff.

No you don't need a permit. If you take them after memorial day then you will just need to pay the fee to get onto the beach.

THIS!! but I think the photography needs a permit. I am attaching the link, I remember reading something like this, but then I could be wrong and may just be for commercial photos.
