long but funny story about pre-cana last night

So we were at a married couple's house. They pass around worksheets and one of the questions was 'name 3 things you need from your partner'

One of FH's major complaints about me is that I talk too much, so one thing he wrote that he needed from me was 'verbal thrift'

I found this hilarious and no one in our group was really sharing, so after we were done discussing amongst ourselves, the leader asked us to share, so I shared 'verbal thrift.' FH felt the need to explain further, about how I think it's necessary to make the same point 6 different ways and how he's always like 'dude i understood you the first time.' The group leader, also a lawyer, joked that this is a problem that a lot of lawyers have. So I turn to FH and say 'See it's not me, it's my job!!!'
And he turns to me and says....

'Leave your job at work. I don't come home from work and shoot you!'

Everyone was hysterical. It's ridiculous stuff like that which reminds me why I love him so much

I have the same problem though, Elizabeth. I am CONSTANTLY repeating things to FH, always in different ways.

Mike does that all the time...so I can tell you first hand how annoying that is...he's a story repeater too, he'll tell me something and then days, weeks or months later he'll tell me the same thing again...and then again and then again and then again!! I get soo annoyed...but I love him anyway.

If you keep it up maybe one day he WILL shoot you
