Did you call the hall to find out the story? I also suggest calling a lawyer?

when a place files for bancrupy it doesn't nessessarily mean they are going out of buisness. i would call them and see what this means for you. try not to get too worried for now. maybe they just need to use the bancrupcy to get on stable ground again. take a deep breath and pick up the phone and call them.

Which reception hall? When is your wedding? Just because they filed chapter 11 doesn't necessarily mean they will DEFINITELY close down. Call them immediately and find out what your options are.
BEFORE you do any of that, CALM DOWN. Things ALWAYS have a way of working themselves out and things always happen for a reason.

Call them I see that you are getting married at John Anthonys. I dont think that you have anything to worry about they are a great hall. Just call and see what they say and there plans.

I checked Newsday - John Anthony's is not Chap 11 the real estate company they rent from is. The restaraunt is still running. Here is the link to the newsday article John Anthony's
Give them a call and find out what the story is so you have some peace of mind. What a stressful way to start the day
