Long Island Hotels

Long Island Hotels

Ladies,

I could really use your help. I need to find a hotel for out-of-town guests near my reception venue: The Watermill.

Here is my issue, I am having a morning ceremony and would love to take pictures at another location prior to the ceremony. My thinking was that if I could find a hotel with decent grounds for pictures, I would have what I need. I heard the Hyatt Wind Watch was nice with the golf course views. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to help me?? Has anyone been to the Hyatt?

Thanks!

Our OOT guests stayed at the Islandia Marriott. I don't remember how it looked but the rate was only $99.

I don't think they have nice grounds for pictures but we took pictures at the Vanderfbilt Museam which was only about 1/2 away. We reserved an inside and outside location in case it rained.. (which it did!)

Pictures of both places are in my online album.

Good luck!

The Hyatt WindWatch in Hauppauge is awesome!

We are using them for our wedding in 5 weeks. Talk to Heather Brauer there. She is great.

They actually gave us a better rate than the Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn.

I am having my guests stay at the Hyatt in Hauppauge as well..it was the most beautiful hotel that I had seen in suffolk county

I will be getting ready over there too and wanted to know if there were any spots we could take pics

Heather Brauer was my sales manager and she said there were plenty indoor and outdoor locations

indoor - Piano , staircase, lounge, etc
outdoor - golf course - gazebo

good luck

I stayed at courtyard by marriott. Its only 10-15 mins away from Watermill. I loved the hotel but I don't recall being anywhere outside to take pics.

Re: Long Island Hotels

We got a rate of $130 per night for Oct 19- Oct 21. So if our guest stayed Thurs, Fri or Sat they got that rate.

I booked my block of rooms at the Holiday Inn in Stoney Brook. It is just east of the Watermill. Just renovated and has great rates.
