Long Island Mansions Venues

I am looking at mansions on long island for a June wedding of about 200 people.

We have looked at Oheka, which is so beautiful, but has become a little mainstream with my family and friends.

I have looked at Chelsea Mansion, which is my top runner - but a little concerned since it needs a little fixing up.

I have also looked at Brecknock Hall, Condrie Hall and DeSeversky.

I am really looking for a traditional mansion or castle, rather than a traditional catering hall.

Does anyone have recommendations?

sands point preserves hempstead house

ubelievable!!

They only do 24 events a year too

Yes I was going to say the Hempstead House as well - it's amazing!!

What about Bourne Mansion?

If you are willing to travel a little bit, Reid Castle in Purchase is amazing!!!!! Pics in my album from my sisters wedding there.

I don't know how many people it holds...but Planting fields is beautiful. I know they do receptions in the main room inside, but I don't know if they can accomodate 200 people

The Royalton (at the roslyn country club) I got married there last year and it is beautiful. Top of the line everything, beautiful decor and ive never heard a bad thing about it :)

Hey!

My finance and I just went to look at the Mansion at Woodeside Acres! It looks beautiful! Do you know of anyone else who had their wedding there? We are inviting about 300 people and I'm curious to see how it looks set up. When we went to see it the other day, they were still finishing renovations. Any input would be awesome! :)
