T ... 1. tell him to buy his ticket at the station BEFORE he gets on ... He should use the machines if the ticket booth is not open. Otherwise its a fortune to buy it on the train.
2. They should announce the transfers on the train as they're pulling into Jamaica ... BUT, He should ask the conductor who takes his ticket what track number the Oyster Bay train will be on, anyway. He will just have to walk across the platform to transfer.
It's not that bad ... it just sounds confusing!
