Top Hat Entertainment was booked and I am interested in Long island SOund DJS. I haven't heard anything about them and was wondering what you think. Have you seen them at parties?
I am staying away from the Boxing Match MC style (with the loud announcements..) It's a afternoon wedding and under 100 people.
Top Hat quoted $650. for 4 hrs and Spin around Sound $1200. I hope LI Sound DJ's are closer to Top Hat. Let me know if you have their rates. Txs!!
I just made an appointment to meet with them and they said they start at 950 for DJ and MC and then go up...I won't have any more information until next week...hope this little bit helps.
I am using Domino Entertainment out of East Yaphank. They are $650 also. My mom heard them at a wedding and when I've spoken to them on the phone they have been very friendly and have been flexible, saying 'The DJ will do whatever you want him to do. If you need an MC who really gets the crowd going, he'll do that, or if you prefer a less vocal, visible MC he'll do that' That made me happy.
