Ok so it's 71 days until my wedding and my DJ company Long Island Sound calls me up and tells me my MC for the day of my wedding Mike was fired. I loved Mike and that's the reason I booked with them because he was soooo good..I spoke with Chris the owner and he explained to me why he had to fire him and it seemed like a reason why I would too. So Chris told me I could meet with the other MC's to see who I liked now and who I would be comfortable with. The only thing is I don't know who else I would want to go with. I asked him who he thought would be the best out of all his guys and he said Kevin. So my question to you ladies who are using Long Island Sound, who have you booked with as your MC and why you picked them? Please help me make a good decision. Thank you so much!!

I used LI Sound and our MC was Chris, he was awesome and I'd highly recommend him but he might already be booked for your day.
Sorry you have to deal with this 71 days before your wedding!! I don't remember a Kevin there so he might be new. From my experience there tho, you really can't go wrong; they're all really great guys and I don't think Chris would hire anyone for his business that wasn't good.

Thanks for your help... I have only heard good things about them that's why i'm not really mad. I just want to pick a good MC because so many people usually have stuff to say about them after the wedding..

We had Chris as well. Why don't you call him and see if he's free? Otherwise go in and meet with the other MCs. I don't think Chris would hire a tremendous difference in personality... his team seem to all be very easy going and the people he brought with him to our wedding were all awsome. See who he recommends who is the most like your MC and meet with them.

OMG.,..I ma so sorry to hear you have to deal with this!! I would go in and listen to the other MC's and see who you like best...I've heard Kevin and Chris are good..I'm sure are are still in good hands....
On another note..I booked Mike for my Nov wedding..I guess I should call Chris and talk with him!

I'm not the kind of person to bash on people I don't know...but I have worked in the catering business for a long long time....Mike used to have a good reputation...not anymore...ask any DJ company on the island...

We had a hard time decideding between Mike and Chris, but we ended up choosing Chris... I would see if he is available!

I just got married in February, and Chris was our MC, and he was/is amazing. He did a great job and I highly recommend him. Everyone had a wonderful time. LI sound is excellent.

I've seen Long Island Sound many times and they've always been great!!
I just joined the LIweddings community from California, but have lived half my life in NY. in fact, LISound is one of the vendors i knew right away i was planning on meeting with....
I haven't set my appt. up yet, but plan to within the next few weeks....anyone got inside info?!?! lol lol
