I know someone had these in their OOT bags? I called about them and they said they won't give out large amounts. How many did you get and how did you go about getting them?

Re: Long Island Travel Brochures
I know exactly the brochures you're talking about but I can't remember whose bags it was.
I'm going to look and see if I can find something like that somewhere and let you know.

Re: Long Island Travel Brochures
Thanks Sandra, my next step is to go start steeling them from the airport a little at a time, but I would rather not have to make the effort.

lol that's hilarious! What a great idea, though!
I'm dropping FH off at LaGuardia on Sunday but I don't think he'd run back out with them for me. He'd give me the 'are you crazy???' look.
Can you maybe have different people you know ask for the brochures from the LI tourism agency?

We made our own. I'm on my laptop but I think I have a picture in my albums.

Thanks. I think I have to many DIYs already, but if I get the chance, maybe I will try to do that.

Re: Long Island Travel Brochures
Lisa's are great!! Perfect if you're going to be way out on the East end. We're more on the Nassau/Suffolk boarder.
I used weddingmapper.com to make an online version of our wedding map and it includes places of interest. Maybe I'll print that to include, but probably not. I think I'm mostly going to just have the schedule of events (shuttle) as well as some local restaurants listed and some cab company #s in case anyone misses the shuttle to the reception or wants to go somewhere else after on Saturday.

Instead of the Maps if you can't get enough try this idea that im doing for my oot bags
Im making a booklet to accompany my oot guest bags. In it I included an event schedule for the entire weekend, all the directions for the varies locations of the wedding, and a list of things to do on LI with their address and such.
They are coming out very cute! I also included a train schedule, I stole those from Penn Station though!
