Long Jacket tuxedo for ringboy?

I'm trying to figure out what the norm is. My hubby is wearing a long jacket tuxedo for the wedding and I'm trying to figure out if the ringboy is suppose to wear a long jacket also?

Edited to add:
When I say long jacket I mean mid thigh.

I don't think it would be necessary for your RB to wear a long jacket. A regular-length one should be fine.

our RB worn the same style jacket as our GM's.
