Re: long list
i saw tommy tunes at a bridal showcase at the watermill once - they are on of the house dj's for them - and they were excellent. very entertaining, a lot of personality and they kept the crowd going. we're having a band for our's, so we didn't book them - but i will honestly say that they made us think twice about the band choice! I think they're worth looking into.

Re: long list
I have heard great things about Tommy Tunes and Absolute Entertainment! Stay away from In the Mix. They are stalkers!!!
Good luck with your search!

Re: long list
tommy tunes are greta - we saw them at a wedding....in the mix stalks me too! - big hits was cool, but he was just more pricey and had less 'cool' lights than who we booked with....i woudl say, put on your shopping aroudn shoes and start meeting with them - thats how we narrowed down too...some were to clubby, 'oldies', etc when we looked - we must have gone to like 15 different people be4 we made our decision!

Re: long list
I am using High Voltage Sounds and I am extremely happy with them so far, and the prices are great.
I had a horrible experience with In The Mix, which is why I decided not to use them, and I know some other people on here have too. (They are the ones that make that 'you have won a $500 credit towards your entertainment package' phone call. Apparently, ALL of us have been their 'Bride of the Day')
JMO though

Re: long list
I get a weekly phone call from In The MIx and I still don't know why - have they not gotten the hint since I've NEVER called them back? I seriously have gotten about 20 calls from them already and I still have 9 months until my wedding.

Re: long list
i saw doctor dance at an expo. although i am not getting a dj, i thought they were very good. lots of energy (IMHO, i would skip the dancers). i liked that they had a sinatra specialist and some live musicians. it was a nice combination.
