I am still debating as to whether i want Long or short bridesmaid dresses. I am doing an april wedding so I think I can pretty much go either way. What's everyone else doing?

As a gal with thick calves, I vote for LONG dresses.

tea length would go well but also if you prefer long then you can do that too. Either one should be fine...which do you prefer?

I thought I only wanted long but I fell in love with these tea length dresses. Almost all of my bm's are short except for one.

I love tea length, I think it always looks nice no matter what time or day the wedding is. They can go either way, and you can always dress them up/down with jewelery and shoes

i am doing long, but I also love some of the short ones. I just think short would look weird with flip flops, so thats my thinking on why I am decidding to do long

I am doing short - I was thinking that my girls would better be able to wear a short dress again.
I am too practical for my own good :)

Re: Long or short BM dresses
^^^^^ that's also my reason for picking short.. i cn't see any of my girls needing to put on a long gown again after the wedding.. but the bm's dresses i'm looking for are something they can wear again to a party or something..

Of course! You can use short or long either day or night. Traditionally, if it is a day wedding people wear shorter dresses and for evening weddings they wear longer ones. I don't think many people follow that anymore....I think that these designers have such nice dresses these days that it's hard to choose either long or short! I am having a hard time deciding too!

I voted for long only b/c it might be cold taking pics - I wore tea length for an April wedding and I froze my ASSS off.

Re: Long or short BM dresses
i think you can do whatever you want. have you asked your bridemaids, it might be nice to ask them. I am having a feb wedding and we picked out a short dress - it's totally up to you, no need to follow the norm.
