Ugh- I am in a pickle. I am looking to see if anyone happens to know anyone who may happen to have this dress in a size 10 kicking around. I will completely buy it. I know it's a popular dress, hoping maybe a former bride will spot this and hook her former BM up with a cool $50 deal.

Did you look on Ebay? I wore that exact dress for my best friends wedding 2 yrs. ago, in latte, and then a bunch of us sold them on ebay for less than 50! Can't hurt to look , and look frequently. The only thing is, people get them altered, so even if it is a size 10, it may not be a true 10. keep that in mind, and ask what type of alterations were done before you commit. Good luck!

I checked ebay- I actually googled, and checked a bunch of sites. I am a little pisssed, bc I tried on an 8 at Davids Bridal, and though it was tight, it fit. Then I lost 6 pounds. Now the 8 I ordered doesn't fit! I can't even hook the zipper top! I think maybe their samples are stretched out...

I am not sure when you need it but if you have the 8 and it doesn't fit. Go to David's they will exchange it for a bigger size. I had to do that as the samples do run big...good luck. FM if you need more info!

You're welcome...I switched mine and it was about 3 weeks but then again, this was off season...good luck!!!!

That is David's one and only good policy...go there with the dress and do it ASAP...you should be okay!

My girls are wearing those dresses! Thankfully I didn't have any problems (at least not any they told me about....) but I do know that David's samples tend to get stretched out. I ordered a dress 2 years ago for a wedding where the sample was a little big and the dress I got in the same size fit with no room to spare. It's just from lots of people trying them on. I hope they don't give you trouble about exchanging! If they don't, the new dress will come in super fast.

They will be able to look it up and see which stores have it in stock, and you may be able to pick it up off the rack in person. You may have to go for a drive, but it will be worth it. I didn't go that route, I ordred it, and it came in 4 weeks, and thankfully it fit perfectly, just needed it hemmed.
