Long Vent about a LOSER GM
can I vent real quick?FH's friend has been a thorn since the engagement. FIRST he was mad he wasn't the BEST MAN (which will make you
by the time you finish reading this!)Next, Loser asks 'So what time will the limo pick us up?'
Uhh WHAT LIMO? He told us that 'Its the B&G's responsibility to provide transportation for their BP & that's how he's always seen it done.' which is a buncha b.s. cuz this GM didn't have all that at his OWN WEDDING. So FH arranged for the REAL Best Man to pick up this loser, bring him, his wife & parents to/from the wedding cuz he's also from the BronxNext, Loser said he couldn't get to Queens to get fitted cuz he had no transportation & refused to take the train (for those of you familiar w/the area, he lives on other side of the Throgs Neck Bridge. The tux shop is on Bell Blvd., a 15 min. ride).
FH agreed to take Loser to tux shop. FH took a half day off work, drove the car into Midtown, PAID for parking & GM didn't show up. THEN FH arranged to have his Best man take him tux shopping. Well Best Man tried 2x to hook up w/Loser & every time for reasons only known to this loser, he wouldn't/couldn't go, & told Best Man 'I don't want anyone to have to go outta their way for me, I'll get there on my own' SO WHY DIDN'T YOU HANDLE YO BIZ YOURSELF THEN OR DROP OUT????!!!
Loser called on Monday & said he'd go to tux shop by today & we haven't heard from him. I told FH to just FORGET HIM cuz he's dissed us one too many times already.
I wish this loser would just be a MAN & say he don't wanna be a part of the wedding so my FH can let it go. I know this is bothering him & I can't do much about it - & that's what bothers me about the scenario.
Oh & Loser hasn't even rsvped to attend wedding at all & I refuse to include him unless he sends back his card. Which was due 9/6 by the way!
That's it, I feel better thanx for listening/reading

It's so sad that some people are just unreliable and selfish...

Re: Long Vent about a LOSER GM
That is so horrible. Sorry for your trouble. You'd be better off if he just steps up to the plate & backs out. If not you or FH should confront him and say straight out, 'looks like you really don't want to be in our wedding party and that you can't do what is expected of you, so maybe it's better off for both of us if you would consider stepping down LOSER.... heheheheWelcome New Vendors
