I don't know if her nails are painted red, or she could be wearing Soft Claws. They make them in dog sizes for dogs who scratch hardwood floors or who dig/scratch at doors and furniture.
You should probably ask the owners if that is the case.

nferrandi & butterfly......
i was thinking the SAME thing, BUT it turns out her husband (and her, but worse for him) have extremely bad allergies. They got her for the daughters anxiety , so they got the crested b/c they didnt think it would be bad n their allergies, but thats not the case.

I'm really happy trhta she comes fomr such a loving family, at least she wont have crazy problems from neglect, abuse, etc....

i can tell from writing to the woman that that dog is really loved, it breaks this womans heart to have to get rid of her.

But i know I'll give her a great home! She can do more here. She can lick my face, she can lay on the furniture, sleep in our bed, etc... She cant do these things there b/c of their allergies.

and oh yeah, heres the update:
SHE IS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner emailed me to say she is ours!!!! Im SOOO happy! Now we just to figure out flying arrangements. (shes in wisconsin)

coxmandi.. i think it actually may soft claws. hmm.. good thing to ask about!
