We got the seats through the Make A Wish Foundation. My little cousin has cancer and had to have his leg amputated. He is such a brave little guy. All I have to say is Make a Wish is such a wonderful group. They really make the kids feel soo special and forget about their problems for a day. When we got to the stadium yesterday we got to park in the players lot. Then we went in the press gates(where the players go in). We waited in an area for a girl from upstairs. While we were waiting there I saw Bob Sheppard(yankee announcer), Brian Cashman(GM), Jim Kaat(YES announcer), and a bunch of other sportscasters. Then, because it was raining and there was no batting practice, we got to go down to one of the yankee restaurants and the yankees treated us to dinner. Then it was out to the field. My cousin and I could not believe the seats. We were on TV all night. The players were in reaching distance. It was sooo cool. My little cousin had such a good time. He got a ball from the game, plus they gave him a bag filled with t-shirst, bobbleheads, picture frames and collectible Yankee stuff. I think I found the charity I am going to make a donation to for my wedding. They really go all out to make the kids happy.
