hey everyone!! my invites are finally done and in the mail!! i waited to post them b/c some of my guests are lurkers and i didn't want them to sneak any peaks before they got them
but anyway, pics don't do my invites any justice!! they are just so pretty in person!! they are half DIY. i got the cards printed up and cut. but lemme tell you, i was up til 2 am every nite for a week and a half putting these together.

but before i give myself all the credit, i MUST thank Katie&Chris2006. without her super helpful post with directions, i would've never been able to do this. again katie, thank you soooo much!!!

A few questions if you don't mine How much did each envelope weigh? How much postage did you need (I assume you needed $1.14 but had to put $1.16 due to the available stamps).

Oh and what did you use to glue the invitation and mats together (and to the pocketfolds)?

you are absolutely correct, they were $1.14 but with the stamps i had to pay $1.16. the stamps were cute. one was 'honeymoonish' and the other was 'something blue'!

i got the glue from michaels. they are in the scrapbooking section. i forgot the brand but it was blue and orange. one was a heavy duty glue stick and the other was memory book glue. they were both very strudy and dried quickly.
