Open them now and send a thank you now?
Open them now and send a thank you after actual shower?
Open them after shower and send thank you then?

I believe you're supposed to hold on to them and open them AT the shower.

I thought that too! I just did not want people thinking I was rude if they did not get a thank you for a few weeks

I opened mine and sent a thank you right away. One of my girts came 2 months early-no clue why lol and my DH decided to open the box before it got home. WooHoo on your 1st gift!
