I like it! It is a good idea rather than just having the standard table number. My only suggestion is to make the table number stand out a little more. Maybe place the text of the table number inside a border like a box. Or even if you bold the number?

It's just a thought, hope it helpful. I really do like the idea your FH came up with.

Yea I was thinking of fading out the mongram slightly to make the text of the table number a little more bold.

i think it is a great start, but the two elements kind of compete too much... how about also making table in not all caps... it might make it easier to read...

That's a good idea too. Play with it and see what you come up with.

I think the text itself is all caps. Thats why Im going to try fading out the mongram

I like them a lot -- I'd uncapitalize the word 'table' and make the monogram more like a watermark and see how that looks... so that Table # is more pronounced... really nice!
