Looking at registry

Looking at registry

Fh and I registered last week (preparing for our July engagement party). The eparty invites haven't been sent out yet, so only a few people know about the registry. I went onto the registry this morning to add something and I saw that some of our items were purchased! I was shocked, but it does make sense b/c my bday was yesterday. I still have to see some people for my bday so I'm guessing they bought me some gifts from the registry. I feel kind of bad that I know what gifts I'm going to be getting now. I guess thats the last time I check on the registry, but I'm so tempted. Do you girls look at it to see whats been purchased or just leave it be?

I didnt register yet but I know alot of girls stalk their registry. But that takes the fun out of opening presents at the shower!

We started registering at Fortunoff's but we had no idea what we were doing so we stopped.

When I went online they had an option to hide it, so I did that until we made final decisions on things.

I go to see what's purchased sometimes, but hardly anything has. We just sent out our E party invites today. So hopefully things will start getting bought up!

Also, sometimes I go on to check out the things on there. I want to make sure that I really want them and that I also compare with what we already have (sometimes people buy us random gifts not from the registry (which is a pain when we end up having 6 spatulas ) to make sure we don't end up with 6 cookie sheets, 10 mixing bowls, etc.

I registered at three places. I am not having an engagement party but that doesn't stop people from buy gifts. I always buy engagment gifts whether or they have an engagement party. I even received a gift from a work-related friend that is not invited to my wedding.

But anyway, I check all the time to update and add things.

ugh i hate getting registry gifts for other occasions! its for wedding related presents only! FH and I got a couple of things as xmas gifts and I was so mad! In my opinion thats just laziness, save the registry for e-party or shower gifts
