Looking at RH starting tomorrow, any thoughts/suggestions?
Greetings brides! This is my very first post. I am looking for a lounge inspired affair with onsite ceremony. I have 125 guests on my list. My preference is a venue on the water, but I love the outdoor south beachy pictures I have seen of the crest hollow country club and of the Woodbury CC are exactly what I want.
Do you have any advice or suggestions about the venues below or other venues I missed?
CHCC; Woodbury CC; The Riviera; CLM ; Venetian (will they work with 100 guests?); Land's End; The Harbor Club; Atlantis Marine World; Carlyle on the Green

I've been to: CHCC; Woodbury CC; CLM Land's End Atlantis
As a guest, this would be my order: Woodbury, Lands End, CHCC, CLM...I wasn't crazy about Atlantis at all!
The outdoor area at Woodbury is gorgeous. My friend got married there this past summer and took her pics outside around the pool and the pics came out awesome! It didn't look like LI at all! At Lands End you have the real water in the background, but just keep in mind that boats come down that canal all the time (that's what happened during my DH's friends ceremony this summer...a boat passed and honked its horn in the middle of the ceremony and more passed during the CH). CLM is right on the water...the HS that I teach at has there prom there every year in the downstairs room with passed hors d'ovrs outside. The kids LOVE IT...as do my adminstrators (I'm the senior class advisor). The photographer sets up on the end of the dock and the kids get their pics taken with the setting sun as the background. Food's pretty good too!
Good luck!!

Well here's my biased opinion since we're booked at CHCC: the venue is gorgeous! The food is amazing! You have an outdoor area complete with waterfalls, firepits and a pool, which all light-up at night. Oh, and all the rooms have LED lighting, so you don't have to pay to upgrade your DJ package.

If you're really looking for 'lounge inspired' I don't know if Riviera is going to be up your alley.
It's gorgeous - but brick and wood, like a ski chalet or medieval building. The view IS phenomenal, and there's a really nice deck seating arrangement.

My favorite on your list is Woodbury CC. That is where my sister got married and everything was great! I also went to a wedding at Lands End, which is great too. However, for a small wedding, you have to guarantee a certain amount there for a Saturday, which is why I didn't even look there. You maybe able to do a Thurs/Fri though. They are a little pricey....

We are getting married at Atlantis...it's pretty and different. Another option is the Sea Star Ballroom in the Hyatt hotel that is located right next to Atlantis. The view from the room is breathtaking. When we were looking, we were also told about a private island that was about 25 minutes away but my FH was obsessed with the aquarium. Good luck!
