So I would like to go to look at RH's this weekend. I have a long list of places but I don't want to drive all over and look at 15 places. Here's my question... can anyone recommend an RH? Approx 150 ppl, don't really care if it's near water or anything. Preferably nassau county or western suffolk. Would love to be at most $70pp. Sunday day or evening. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it. You can FM if you'ld like.

Re: Looking at RH's
I would call and make sure you dont need an appt, alot of the RHs require an appt on the weekends b/c they have weddings going on. Some do not. CB asks that you make an appt.

What about some of the country clubs? I feel like they probably would be able to accomodate you.

Re: Looking at RH's
One sat FH and I just drove down Jericho Tpke and looked at the North Ritz Club, Jericho Terrace, the Inn at NHP. We only made it to three bc we were tired but there are a bunch more. We didnt have appointments and were limited to what we could see when went bc of the parties. This is what we liked about it too since we wanted to make sure that the hall wouldnt let people poke their heads in at our party.

Re: Looking at RH's
Try Chateau La Mer, Stewart Manor Country Club (I hear they are VERY reasonable), Ariana Waterfall, Manor East, Galaxie, Riviera, and the Holiday Inn in Plainview. HTH

DEFINATLY go to Chateau Briand. I was quoted $70 for a sat night...so it should be cheaper for a sunday afternoon. I really like it there are they are VERY accomodating

Check out the Watermill, I think when we went there we were quoted a little more then $70, but price varies with the time of year, time of day and day of the week so its worth a shot. Good luck!

I agree - most RH's do require an appointment of some sort...
As for suggestions, take a look at Fox Hollow - they will definitely be within your price range.

i was going to recommend fox hollow. i think their winter garden pavillion is beautiful! i know it's for smaller weddings, but i think it could accommodate you. if not, they have other rooms.

Chateau Briand and Fox Hollow are fairly inexpensive. There are a few others that are very reasonable but those are the nicest out of them I believe! Good luck!!!

I dont know how much a Sunday would be but you should look at Westbury Manor. I may be slightly biased but I think it's the most beautiful place ever!
