My mom and I just drove all over the place to look at places to have my shower.
We went to Danfords Three Village Inn Old Field Club The Country House Lombardis on the Sound. and countless restaurants
Danfords, Old Field Club, and The Country House are out.
It's between Three Village Inn and Lombardis on the Sound (Port Jeff Country Club). *Of course we narrow it to the more expensive ones lol my mom was getting mad at me haha..
but tomorrow we have another apt with Lombardis and 3VI -so I should know by tomorrow!!
I'm so excited lol I feel like I get to plan another wedding. *albiet a smaller one.
UPDATE: Lombardis wants us to guarantee 70 people! I hope we can negotiate that... it's a bit too high for the shower - I have 70ppl on my guest list for the shower but a lot are out of state who won't come. My mom's not going to be happy paying for a lot of people who don't come. I wonder if they'll lower it to 50.

Did you try Sonoma Grill or Garden Grill?
The Garden Grill is in Smithtown (not sure if thats near you) and the upstairs room is so cute and holds up to 55 people.

we really wanted something on the water.
Also if out of towners do decide to come - we may be slightly over 55 ..or around there -so we kind of ruled out restaurants because most only held 50-60 and we didn't want everyone smooshed in lol

a friend of mine had her baby shower at chateau la mer and they only charged her $35pp with a 60 guarantee. It was a sunday morning at like 10am, so I think they were able to make a deal bc of the time. They had like 6 different courses and unlimited blood mary's and mimosas on silver platters. Everything was beautiful

yeah that's not a bad price - but I think that's farther than my mom wanted it.
