Looking @ venues on Long Island!

Hey girls,

I'm going to check out the Yale Club in NYC but also wanted to check out venues on Long Island. (I'm originally from Long Island and my family still lives there.) I am looking at The Royalton Mansion in Roslyn and maybe the Woodlands, Glen Cove Mansion... I have no idea what these venues may charge per person or if any of them are willing to negotiate.. (such a newbie!) Any thoughts or advice is welcome!!!

The Woodlands is a beautiful venue and also the Glen Cove Mansion.

FOr the Woodlands I got quoted like $125 for a Sunday and $135 for a Saturday for a May-June Wedding and they offer alot of food and a 6 1/2 hour wedding and you have the place to yourself. The only negative is the room that you get is in a rectangular shape so the people seated in the back will not be able to see whats going on in the front, but they have dark wooden walls and very intimate feel

The GCM, I got quoted like $160-165 for a June wedding, I forgot the exact prices they quoted me, do a search for this on here , I wrote the quotesa couple of days ago. HTH
