looking for a barn wedding venue....help!

Hello everyone! First time posting :)

So I recently got engaged and we've already starting searching like crazy for venues but we are going insane. FH and I both really really want a barn wedding, NOT tented, in a barn. We love the warm, rustic, romantic, laid back feel. We've searched like crazy on LI but nothing really hits the spot.
-We liked (not loved, because the barn inside looks too new and lacks that warm feel) Martha Clara's but have hear so many mixed reviews
-hallockville can't hold us all inside the barn
- driftwood is impossible to get a hold of and we think its a bit strange getting married at someones home,
- were going to see george weir this weekend but you need portapottys :(

I think we are a bit discouraged because after random google searches we've seen barn wedding venues in other places in the US and some of them are drop dead gorgeous and fully loaded with everything you need. I hear of a lot of people not finding what they want and just settling and we've both agreed we don't want to settle. We've been waiting for this day since we've met and have been together 6 years we want to find the place that makes our jaws drop.

Anyway, I would appreciate ANY help. Maybe there is some hidden gem someone knows about? If not, we are opening up to the idea of marrying outside of long island but would prefer to keep it 1-1.5 hours travel..

My friends cousin just had their E party at Bethpage Restoration House which is a barn. You have to provide everything else (rent tables, chairs, get it catered etc). HTH

Queens County Farm museum is super cheap but might lack that 'rustic' feeling you're looking for. But the grounds are really cool and whimsical because its a farm

Try the Frank Brush Barn, part of SMithtown Historical Society. I think it's pretty small though.

I second bethpage restoration barn. With the right vendors it's a beautiful place for a wedding I actually wished I would have opted for fall and that place it would be so different!

The Hallockville Farm is Beautiful, there are more suggestions on this blog as well.
