Looking for a beautiful gift to give..... Any suggestions

My MOH has been the best! She has been by my side and is basically doing all of the planning. She is also doing my hair and all of my bridesmaids and flower girls hair for the wedding for free. I have 6 other bridesmaids and two flowergirls. I want to show my appreciation by buying her something special. Funds are low right now because the wedding is next week. And I need to buy it before the rehersal dinner next Fri. What can I get for her that will show my token of appreciation without going broke? What are you brides getting for your maid of honor? Thanks so much in advance Diva11236

My MOH collects special wine glasses and I found her a pretty hand-blown one. You can find them ranging from about $35 to over $100. For one of my bridesmaids, I got a beautiful Waterford crystal vase - 15' tall, because she always has beautiful flowers in her apartment - buys fresh ones every week. You can get a good deal on these at the outlet store, and also Macy's has specials and discount coupons for 15% off. The other bridesmaid got a very special pewter frame that I found at Nordstroms, because she has photos all over her apartment and loves to display them. I think your best bet is to try to find something that says you know their personality and taste if you can.

In addition to a few other items, I got my MOH a beautiful embroidered throw blanket at Things Remembered in the mall (I think they're in all the malls on LI) - they have different sayings especially for wedding parties, mine said something about her being my sister, best friend, and MOH. (can't remember exact wording, my memory is going lately) Good luck!!!!

I got all of my bridesmaids and MOH these silver necklaces (you know the hard ones that you can put different charms on)- I got them each a silver charm with their initials on them. I also got them silver earrings. These can all be worn again- which is what I was looking for. I then got my MOH a sterling silver tea set- she really likes making tea and this is something she can keep forever and display. I wanted to get her something really nice that she could have forever and remember.

Looking for a beautiful gift to give..... Misha

Hi Misha- I checked out the store yesterday after work and right now they don't have any...they are a tiny little store in an area called the Highlands here and they buy and sell old stuff....so the fact that they had the set when we went was b/c someone had sold it to them not too long before. I did ask the women that if they get anymore in to give me a call and I'll let you know!! You may want to try and look at little shops around where you are and see if anyone carries them. I hope this helps! Good luck!!

Jillian

Thank you so much, please do let me know, although I don't have much time left! But I will look around here at some of the smaller shops. I may just have to go with something different--ugh, another thing left to do!

A Suggestion

Tiffany's has a beautiful silver braclet wtih either a heart or round shaped charm for $125.00. I have one and wear it all the time. Or if she loves to read, by her a Tiffany bookmark and a special book about friendship. I don't think it matters how much you spend. It matters that the gift is tailored to her. Let us know what you got.
