St.. Killian's in Farmingdale is really nice - I was in a wedding that took place there, and the reception was at the Townhouse....not too far at all.

What about the historical chapel? Its located in woodbury. Check the wedding of the year website. That's where they held the mock ceremony.

Upper Room Christian World Center in Dix Hills on Deer Park Avenue is a born-again church.

A good friend of mine is a born again Christian and I think she goes to the one on Deer Park Avenue, but I can check for you if you like.

Re: looking for a church
I grew up catholic but didn't want to get married in the catholic church. My family wanted us to get married in a church, so I put my mom on the task of finding us an old, beautiful church that would be welcoming to ALL of our friends and family.
Here is what we found:

I think St. Patricks church in Bay Shore is beautiful, but I am somewhat biased:) It might be too far from Huntington for you also...up to you. good luck!!

i'm born again and my husband is catholic. we got married at Wading River Congregational Church in Wading River, since we couldn't get married at either of our churches. The ceremony was perfect!
