I am looking for a DJ. I want a DJ that can get the people dancing and play a good mix of music...I also dont want to spend more than 2000(is that possible)

Tommy Tunes is great. They have a basic package for under $2000 no add ons.

We looked at FM Entertainment and Unlimited Entertainement. In the end we went with FM. They are cheaper and we got a better vibe from them.

I 2nd FM. I got a good vibe from them as well. I added on some extras and came in way less than 2K.

I know. Right now we upgraded the lighting system and its less that the basic package Unlimited offered. We plan on adding the TVs with the montage later when we know we can afford it, but still thats only 500!

I am looking also. Going to see In the Mix & Body Rock on thurs & FM entertainment on monday. I can let you know how it goes.
I also want to look at TLC entertainment & LI sound as they are recommended vendors from my hall. LI sound has a showcase this upcoming Monday at the New Hyde Park Inn, according to their website.

We went with LI Sound! Ask for Kevin! He had us laughing the entire time and they were only $1400 with the basic lighting package for a DJ/MC. He was great! I told him if we couldnt have him than we werent going to use them....we also booked our String Quartet for the ceremony/cocktail hour through them!

call Bravura located in Woodbury (bravuraentertainment.com)... call and set up an appointment with Tony .. they are amazing and have so many 'extras' to chose from .. you wil not be disappointed!!

I booked with High Voltage. I liked Tommy Tunes, but Vinny from HV was just cheaper. Lots of other people said he was great according to the review. Basic package is $800

We booked with Absolute, we are paying a little over $2000 but we had a lot of extras added on..There pricing was the best we got for the amount of stuff.
