Looking for a dog

Hey Ladies,

Since between us we all know somebody who does everything, I was hoping someone knows a breeder of Pugs. FI really, really wants one. It doesn't have to be in time for Xmas. We can take it anytime.

Thanks!!!!

Re: Looking for a dog

Valenia, I've been browsing petfinder.com for an hour now, and crying my eyes out over all of the animals without homes. I found a lab mix who is on borrowed time at a shelter. As soon as Patrick comes home, I'm telling him that that poor dog is ALL I want for Christmas.

Thanks for posting such an great link. I hope they all get adopted...

Re: Looking for a dog

I got my dog (a lab) through the American Dog Club (in Albertson). They have many breeds of dogs so you may find a pug there. They really take such good care of the dogs. You can only play with/touch a dog if you are seriously thinking of purchasing it. They keep the dogs in a room that looks sort of like a doggie nursery and there is a man there whose job it is to clean up the puppy doo-doo whenever they go!! If you want more info. forum mail me, or you can try looking them up in the phone book.

The petfinder website was heartbreaking. I already e-mailed the person to put an application in for one of the dogs.

Sasha - i'll check it out! Thanks for the info!

Re: Looking for a dog

Does anyone know anyone who wants a free golden retriever puppy? They must go or else they will be put to sleep. Please help them find a
home.

I would love one, but they're a little too big for my condo!

Re: Looking for a dog

They can bring the puppies to an animal shelter. Someone will adopt them. They always find them a home. Don't put them to sleep.

Re: Looking for a dog

please do not put them to sleep. That is really cruel and unnessesary. you can bring them to the north shore animal league in Port Washington and they will find homes for them.

Re: Looking for a dog

I agree with the posts above, there should be no problem finding homes for those beautiful puppies! I bet it would take about a half hour at North Shore Animal League for them all to be swept away to good homes!

Oh No... those puppies are too cute! Our landlord has a 6 mo old golden, he is sooooo adorable and sweet. Great around kids too. Friendliest dog I ever met. If we were allowed to have one, I would take one!
