I was wondering if anyone could recommend an officiant or Justice of the Peace. Someone who is funny and actually has a personality. we aren't religious at all so we were thinking a Justice of the peace would probably be best.
We had booked Michael Cassara but he flaked on us. He said he didn't realize he had another wedding the same date and time but I remember perfectly being at his house and him looking at his calender right in front of us. He was really rude and I am pretty sure he bumped us to get another couple paying more. I guess it worked out though because he was very dull, no personality. My fiance and I are very easy to get along with and we want our officiant to be funny and full of energy.

I was actually gonna recommend Pastor Mike. Sorry if he flaked out on you, but I doubt its for the reason you say he did. My guests all loved him and not only was he high energy, but also funny and endearing as well. Just wanted to throw that out there before others get the wrong idea about him based on your comment.
But of course, you're entitled to your opinion. Sorry again that it didnt work out.

It was definitely because if money. He was kind of rude from the start because I asked if we could get a better rate since my ceremony was early in the day and he said if you don't book me then someone else will. I then got an email a few days later with our proposed rate being accepted. He emailed me a few weeks later saying he didn't know he had already booked another couple on the same date and time. What he must not remember is my Fiance and I were at his house looking on his computer with him at his calendar when we booked. I was so taken back when he emailed me to cancel. He was very cold and unapologetic. Didn't even have the courtesy to call.

That is awful and would piss me off majorly! I dont know her personally, but Pastor April gets great reviews here. Good luck!

I used Rev. Dawn Shederick. She is great, and everyone LOVE my ceremony. She is funny and she get the crowded involved.
Rev. Nick Montanino? I might have spelled his last name wrong. He's hilarious. My FH was 100% against having anyone besides his friend marry us and Nick changed his mind in about 1 minutes or less.
