Hey ladies, Can anyone recommend a good and inexpensive florist in Brooklyn? I have one florist in mind from LI, they work with my RH but I would really like to go to another place just so I'll be able to compare prices and styles.
Thx

Re: Looking for a good florist in Brooklyn
I am using Henry's florist on 80th (maybe 81st or 82nd - can't remember) and 5th avenue. The owner is a co-worker of mine's father in law and his prices were good. He was maybe $100 cheaper than the other places we went to and we knew that we could trust him. I am sure he will do a good job. He has pics there of my co-workers wedding too in which if they didn't own that flower store, her flower budget would have been 30K! If only we had unlimited budgets. So basically you know he can handle big and small and my budget was 4K.
Even try going to Dyker Florist on 79th and 13th. I have heard they do a good job as well but I think pricier.

I forgot to tell you about Marine Park Florist. They came highly recommended by a friend of mine.

My florist was Yeva. Take a look at my pics and FM me if you want her info.

Re: Looking for a good florist in Brooklyn
Ok after long considerations and reading a bunch of reviews I decided to check out Sweet Blossoms in Manhattan Beach and Marine Park Florist before going to the florist in LI that works with our RH (Tim's Florist in Massapequa Park).
Thanks for all the advice and if you have more info about these places I'll be more than happy to hear.

Re: Looking for a good florist in Brooklyn
Both my sons used June Florist on 18th Avenue right off of 86th Street. They are a small family owned shop and they do beautiful work. FYI-Jimmy the owner may seem detached when you speak with him but he isn't. He is just busy and believe me he listens to everything you are saying. There is also Flowers by Emil on 72nd St. & 18th Avenue.
