Looking for a little help with the quotes

Hi everybody,

I have to say i love this sight I wish there were more like this for other areas but I have to say this has definately opened my mind to the LI area. So Ive set a date for my wedding for June 27th or 26th either one who ever fits the bill wins. However I was wondering if any one had a little price insight on certain places since I'm from the Bronx and am on a budget. I'm going to make an appointment for 2 places this saturday but didn't want to waste a very long drive only to realize its out of range. I was looking at Chateau La mer , The water mill, The waterview club and maybeee Leonard's. Any one have a general Idea of what these places cost day wedding Saturday or Sunday? I'm loving Chateau just from pictures but we'll see

All or most places will give you price quotes over the phone. So that can save you time by driving out to a place and then finding out it is too expensive.

I called a million places and got price quotes from all of them.

Yeah I agree you should call them up before you visit. Most places I spoke with were very helpful and emailed me alot of information about different packages. However, you may want to try to visit the places just because I found that they were willing to negotiate with you on the price in person rather than by telephone and you get a feel of the place and the people that work there.

try this website first....gives you a general guideline with prices, how many events at a time, etc etc. good jumping off point.

I can let you know on Chateau La Mer when I get home. I was quoted for a Saturday evening in June (not sure if that date was available). FM if you want details.

ETA: I was quoted $75 for a Friday night in their smaller room...$60 for a Thursday in their big room. Big room it is!

Since that is prime season and prime day, I'd imagine they will all be upwards of $100, probably closer to $150 w/tax and tip added in.

did you look at any of the places in the bronx or new rochelle? lots of girls on here have looked at those as well, so im sure someone could help you out with those quotes if you are interested in those areas as well....
