A restaurant would be nice if they have a private room. I am also open to a hall. I am thinking we will have about 70 people.

Well I live in eastern queens so my suggestions are all going to be in that area or in LI. Hope it helps.

Parkside-Corona queens, not the best area anymore but there is parking and your car is safe and all and the food is good and reasonable, they have an upstairs room
Caffe on the green Bayside Queens-they have a private room with a minimum of about 70 or so maybe 80 not sure good food i think probobly a bit more expensive than Parkside.

Also ifyou want a hall type place i would call some local VFW halls or K of C. Depending the deal you can get it comes out to be abiout the same as a restauraunt only thing is, only some Kof C's provide the food (like i know the one in New hyde park provides the food) so you may also have to cater the food or makle it yourself.
I had a good experience with teh VFW in valley stream on merrick road while planning a friends shower you may want to call there.
FM if you have any questions.
