Looking for a place to get married

Hi Everyone! I'm looking for a place to have my wedding on January 2008. I would like to do it in a castle or somewhere different than just a catering hall. Does anyone have good ideas or suggestions? Thank you for your help.

We looked into doing it at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and it looked really nice. It's not a castle but it's different!

The Castle on the Hudson in Westchester is really nice and the Oheka, you can get a great price there for a Jan wedding

Yeah I would have loved to have it there bec we wanted a castle also but it was too small for my # of guests. Oheka is great but wanted almost $500 a person for a June wedding. If I was having a winter wedding which is soooooooo nice in a castle, with a fireplace, crisp air, snow I would def have it at the Oheka

check out the Royalton Mansion in Roslyn Heights, LI... it's a huge house that was remodeled & they only have 1 wedding at a time so you get the entire mansion to yourself

Oheka is good, but pricey! If you can afford it, go for it. My wife and I got married at the Woodlands. It was fantastic - It is an old Gold Coast Mansion in the middle of the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course. You might want to check it out!

You can look at NYC Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. Also, there's a few mansions and castles in Westchester. If you go to westchester weddings, they list different choices other than reception halls. Good luck in your planning!
