Looking for a Proactive Substitute

Looking for a Proactive Substitute

If anyone has used Proactive before or heard of Proactive before, Can you tell me what types of products I can use for my skin to replace proactive. We cannot afford to use Proactive anymore, because it is too expensive.
Thanks

Scott, i stopped using Pro Activ as well when it became too expensive. I flipped the bottle over, looked at the contents and went to the pharmacy. What I used for YEARS and it did the same job for $7 bucks lol is Clean N Clear Continouos Control Acne Wash. I used the cream one but I have also tried the foaming one. They both are excellent and way cheaper. I think it has 10% benzoyl peroxide? Thats the same thing ProActiv has.

What about a cream for after you wash? Did you find something like that too?

I started using the Clean & Clear Acne product also.

Since I moved to my new house, I swear it is the air and the water, my face has more! No one else can see it but I sure can.

I went to the Spa at St. James-T Carlton's and had a facial done and she gave me a cleanser and lotion, it made my skin worse.

So far using the Clean and clear it seems better and I'm using the lotion that came with it (it was 2 bottles in one package) but my skin seems to be dry a little now.

I need to go check out the other products they have, can you recommend one?

when my face started to get dry, i switched to Cetaphil. It's great also, since I dont get much acne anymore but still have combination skin.

I've switched to Clearasil Adult Acne Treatment Cream (it's tinted but matches my skin fine, don't know if it will match yours). The derm. medicines were too strong but this is great! It doesn't dry me out and keeps new break outs from occuring, rather than just taking care of a zit that appears. Plus, it's only like $5!

Its wierd, my skin is normally oily...but it gets dry if I use too much acne stuff on it.

if you have oily skin try Biore shine control foaming cleanser, since I've been pregnant my skin is so oily, I just started using it last week and I see amazing results

Thanks. I tried this scrub from Neutrogena that you can also use as a mask and it dried the heck out of my skin. It turned my skin red for like 20 minutes. So now I just use it as a wash.

What about 'Purpose'....they make facial cleansers and creams and I think they all work great.
