Looking for a RC Church!!

We have a CHECK next to RH, but now we need a CHURCH! FH and I are registered at a very nice church in our neighborhood, beautiful inside and out but the aisle is like 3 steps to the alter So, now we are on a hunt for a beautiful church (Roman Catholic), inside and out, with A/C maybe with some steps out front (love stair shots for pics!) but not a big deal, and has to be in either Brooklyn, Queens or Nassau County, and also with not so many restrictions (like, I've heard some churches not marrying you bc you are not a member or you cant have decorations, aisle runners or flowers thrown on the grd - that kind of thing!) ...ladies please help! Thank you!

Try Holy Name of Mary in Valley Stream. They marry non-parishioners and don't have TOO many rules.

Check my album for pics.

Church of Our Saviour in Manhasset. It's right across from the Americanas the Apple store.
The Pastor does a beautiful job with everything he does and he marries non members all the time. They have stairs out front and red doors.

I have their number if you need it.

Re: Looking for a RC Church!!

We got married at Our Lady of Mercy in Forest Hills, Queens. The church was beautiful and they were very welcoming even though we were not members of their parish. We were allowed to have aisle runners and to throw flowers outside though we would've had to clean them up ourselves. We were not allowed to throw petals in the church. Here's some photos.

I'm getting married here as well, and I know of a couple who are non-parishioners getting married here in September. Their aisle is 130 feet long I believe, and you can have an aisle runner. Also, they allow decorations. I'm having flowers on the pews.

The only rule that sticks out is they don't allow petals to be thrown. My flowergirl is carrying a flower ball.

Does the church have A/C during summer months?
