Does anyone out there know of a place to hold a reception of about 150-200 with a water view in Suffolk County, New York??

DEFINITELY talk to John Anthony's in Babylon. It's where I'm having mine! Also talk to Port Jefferson Country Club (but I don't think they are scheduling any weddings after 2003), Lands End, Snapper Inn....what am I missing?

Bayview house at Captain Bills in Bayshore... room holds to 200 they say, and its right on the water, southshore.
Don't pay attention to the name,, sounds wierd, but its a really nice place (IMO)

A friend's SIL had her wedding at Captain Bill's and loved it. Also Port Jeff Country Club is beautiful. Claud2001 had her wedding there and it was great.

I've never been to the other ones mentioned but John Anthony's is really nice.Our friends had their reception there a few years ago and everything was excellent!!!

Have you heard about The Harbor Club in Huntington?
HI, I was going to recommend you look at Captain Bill's too, that's where we're having our reception too- so happy to see so much positive feedback on this thread- you don't see it mentioned too often- but it is beautiful, and perfect for that # of people! Any questions FM me!

we had our reception at Lands End and it was beyond amazing. I highly recommend it.

My ceremony/reception is going to be at Pt. Jeff Country Club, right on LI Sound.
YES!!!! THE HARBOR CLUB in Huntington. That is where I am having my reception. The food and service is just outstanding. Speak to Maureen or Mattie- they're great! Its the perfect size for what you're looking for too.
