FH and I are both catholic, but not practicing (although we'be made communion and confirmation).
For the sake of my VERY religious grandparent I need to find a Roman Catholic priest (or as close to RC as possible) that will marry us on Sunday Sept 3, 2006 in the garden at Giorgio's. I know that it will be hard to find, but it's my grandparent's 56th anniversary that day too so I want to please them.
Any recommendations?

why don't you try calling Father Joe at St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Center Moriches (near Giorgios where I am getting married as well). I have never met him but have spoke to him on the phone several times and he is a DOLL!!! Try giving Giorgio or Jamie a call at Giorgios too since so many brides have gotten married at the gardens and I have to believe at least one of them was roman catholic!

Father Tom McCormick or Father Michael Callahan, both are vendors on LIW and both are ordained RC Priest. They both served 20+ years w/the church, but left for reasons - (can't be married, etc.). My FI and I are both RC, but FI was married before, not sure when the annulment will be complete so we're getting married at our recpetion site. Father Tom is performing our wedding. He is wonderful!!! I highly recommend him!!! Keep us posted!!!
