Looking for a Suggestion....

My girlfriend who is originally from LI just got engaged. She lives in CA, but her whole family is here. She wants to have a small engagement brunch on LI.

I was wondering if you could think of any restaurants that could host a 60
person brunch for a reasonable price per person (25-35 per person) with good
food and nice atmosphere. Preferably a place that has a private room. Her family is located in Plainview, so somewhere in Nassau or Western Suffolk would be best. Although if you have a great suggestion somewhere else, I welcome it.

Maine Maid Inn in Jericho is very pretty

Jackie Rielly's on Hempsted Turnpike in Bethpage. The food is excellent and they are reasonably priced.

This is what I was going to suggest-I hosted my sisters shower here-we did the old fashioned tea party, instead of the traditional brunch-it was 4 hours, unlimited champagne and mimosas, croissants and scones, jams and jellies, salad, mini tea sandwiches, I added an omelette station (which went over really well!!! ), and they give you either cake or petite fours....tell her to go with petite fours and bring her own cake...we were in the carriage room upstairs, which has a nice balcony...it was perfect and very affordable!
