Just came back from Pearls inn luxary bed abd breakfast in Newport RI, it was awesome. cobblestone street, romantic restaurants right on the water and awesoem shopping. We stayed at pearls inn and it was sooooo nice. Old charming victorian house with a touck of modern art decor. all ralph lauren linens, awesome breakfast, all wine included. the place was about 2 and half hours from NY city. I highly recomment it to anyone!

www.Twinpinemanor.com is also another great, and really gorgeous bed and breakfast. FH and I stayed there a few years ago and had a great time, I'm always asking to go back. Amish country is 10 minutes away. There's a gigantic buffet not to far away (that was AMAZING and HUGE!!) but other than that, you're really in farm land- It's gorgeous!

the rooms go from about 125 a night to 225 for a suite. you dont need a suite though, we had one but we looked at the reg rooms and they are amazing too. this place is very different from amish town in Penn, this was more nautical, on the wqater :), but a mixture of port jeff, sayville village, and maybe lake george, awesome time!!!
