Looking for Candied Apples and Masks for Oct. 30, 2010 wedding
Hey all. I don't know if anyone can help me but I am having an Oct. 30, 2010 wedding. While most of my theme is fall I am trying to incorporate some halloween themes. Such as my favors. I am looking for bride and groom candied apples but I am looking for someone on Long Island to do them for me as the price is astronomical online. Does anyone know anywhere? AND Halloween or masguerade masks, I am looking for classy not cheap looking ones that are again not astronomically expensive. I would made them myself but I am in no way crafty. Any ideas???

Oriental trading sometimes has masks that you can buy at wholesale. Maybe check them out.

Oriental Trading does have masks....I'm going to order them soon to see how well they're made. I got masks from another website from here masks but wasn't impressed.
As far as the candy apples...unless you do them yourself be prepared to pay a lot. I'm going to try to get plain caramel apples and then dip the bottoms in chocolate and make a web on them like in the picture below. Good luck and if you need any ideas for Halloween touches, feel free to fm me!

I think those candy apples are sooo cute with the bride and groom! Where did you find those?

As far as apples, theres a place that I met at a bridal show that had the best tasting chocolate my BMs and I had ever tasted in our lives (no exaggeration!) They made a lot of awesome apples and they were SOOO reasonable! It was someone's confections...I know that's not so helpful but I'll look for the business card, I saved it cause I planned in using them when the time came closer to the wedding. I'm SURE they can do it and reasonable and beautifully I was SO impressed with them!
