Narrowed down that I might be doing this as my favor.
Am going to get the paperboard sleeves from blissweddings (.35), the CD's from costco or something, and probably do the labels myself.
But I need some inspiration! Any guys/gals do it themselves and want to share?
TIA!

Re: Looking for CD Favor Inspiration
I had a friend of mine do ours. They came out cute. She did alot of the design work on WORD. I can ask her any questions you have and let you know. I love CDs as favors. Go for it!!

Re: Looking for CD Favor Inspiration
I actually starting to burn the first one right now as I type! My advise to you is...wait to burn until a couple of months before your wedding.... I cannot even count the number of times I've changed my mind on songs...this one...no that one...no...ugh... I was driving myself crazy! I finally made a sample...had a few people listen to it and they loved it... Then...I added another song because someone on here had an incredible song on a video that I had to add! We bought our CD's from BJs and tons of labels that we're making once our e-pics are done. We included a wide range of songs...make it fun. Do do a bunch of slow songs...mix it up a little. We have everything from Josh Groban, Bob Dylan, Adam Sandler and even a bit from Spamalot.

We did ours...I have to admit it was VERY time consuming! At times I wished we paid someone to do it for us. They were a big hit with our guests...I burned 150 CDs, made the labels and the CD jackets and bought slimline cases from staples.

fm
here is our favor
it was a cd/dvd combo. we did all the graphics ourselves and guest were raveing about the dvd movies and montages on it
picture 1 is the cd picture 2 is the dvd picture 3 is the inside of the dvd case (there was an insert for what was on the dvd) picture 4 is the outside of the case opened up (so the right side is the front titled 'Love - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow', and on the left is the back and had the cd tracks we had in front of a collage of pictures from all ages thoughout our life.
