I love the song C'e' La Luna/Luna Mezzo Mare by Paolo Citarella. I really would like it at my wedding, but I need to send it to the band though, so they can learn it. I've found the Dean Martin version and a version by Patrizio Buanne. I know there's also versions by Louis Prima and Lou Monte (both of which I don't really care for though). The Dean Martin and Patrizio Buanne versions aren't bad, but I'm trying to find one that's as authentic as possible (Dean Martin sings some words that I know aren't the original words - like spaghetti, mozzarella, etc).
As far as the lyrics go, the Patrizio Buanne version is the best - it's clear, and it seems that most of the words are the real lyrics. However, I wanted to see if any of you brides know of a really good and authentic version of this song besides the ones I listed already. I've noticed that there are a lot of conflicting versions of the lyrics floating around the internet, so that's why I'm trying to figure this out as well.
I don't know if I'm asking too much, but if anyone can help in anyway, I would be most grateful.
