Looking for Florist for under $2000... would Flower Michele be much more?

I originally had planned on going to see Flower Michele since there have been such rave reviews, but now I'm afraid he may not fit my budget. For those of you who booked with him, did you get any quotes close to that (I'm having 14 tables at the most)?

Can anyone else recommend anyone who may fit my budget? I would like to try and make an appointment for Monday if possible. Thanks!

My florist could probably accomadate you. I am using A Florid Affair. They are a vendor on this site. Call them and tell them Karina sent you. They come to your house so it's not even a wasted trip. Good Luck

Try Milleridge Florist. They can work with any budget. I used to do there and I have a friend who is using them. Beautiful work and easy to work with.

I think it would be possible to work with John of Flower Michele in that range. I am going to have about the same number of centerpieces along with other arrangments and bouquets and was quoted a price around your range. I would definitely meet with him and see what he can do. Let him know what you have as a budget and see what he suggests. You can also look elsewhere and compare. He is so nice to work with!!! I haven't heard a bad thing about him or his work! He called today to have me set up an appt. to do my centerpiece trial, yippie!!!

I had more tables than you, but my original quote was close to $2000. Depends on how many flowers your having, what type, corsages, bouquets, etc.

Definitely check out Flower Michele - John may be able to work with you on the price and he can offer up suggestions on where you can cut costs / substitute for cheaper flowers. He's absolutely the best vendor I worked with.

Depending on what you need and what kind of flowers you want- Flower Michelle may be out of your budget. He seems to work within whatever budget you have...you just might not get as much in quantity but still have quality.
You should definitely go to Burtons in Melville, they will give you a lot for your money and you won't have to sacrifice quality.

Try Wicks in Baldwin .. a vendor on the Board. My original quote was for about $1300 and we estimated 15 tables. They are very reasonable & do fantastic work!

Another Flower Michele vote. Tell him your budget and what you want, he will work with you or suggest other floral options to stay in your budget. price a few florists to be sure, but I know you will love John!

Is $ 2000.00 a good budget ? I am still in the early planning stages and we are trying to set some parameters. I have about 14 tables, i think too?

Burtons is amazing--sorry to keep having to repeat myself-i sound like a broken record!! But i was set on not spending a ton of $$ on flowers and they provide great service, amazing flowers and an unbeatable price-I am having 15 tables, if not more and a bunch of stuff @ the church and he is only charging me around $1500

I would definetely go and @ least check them out!
