Looking for Gaby and Marvin who were engaged on 6/7/10

Hey!!! I was looking through the engagement annoucements and noticed that you guys got engaged on the same date as i did.....AND IN DISNEY ALSO. I was wondering where you guys were seated? My FH poped the question about 2 min into the fireworks and basically i was in a zone for the next hour not knowing whatever else was going on around me.

It would be great to chat, hit me up with a private message!

OMG! That's crazy! Congratulations! Yep I would say it was about 2 or 3 minutes into the nightastic fireworks show. I love Disney so he knows Wishes is my favorite fireworks show in the world. We actually were not sitting, we had just left dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle so we made our way down to by where the Walt and Mickey statues are, but over to the side so we wouldnt be blocking the people sitting down. We left right after, the masses kind of took us over even though we wanted to stay for a bit longer. The rest was a dream! The best part is that it was on the first day of our vacation so I got to wear my ring around to all the other parks! I hope your engagement was as magical as mine! Disney is the best.

Congrats!!!!!! My FH let me wait it out a few days lol, we got engaged about 3 days into the vacation. I am a Disney freak and actually brought him to disney for the first time about 4 years ago. I cried at the fireworks then and he KNOWS i love that show. We were lucky to be sitting on the beaches along the side of the castle, so it was nice to not block anyone and have a 'front row' seat. My sister, her boyfriend and a friend of mine were there with us, so when he popped the question we all were crying (me the most)...we stayed to watch the rest of the show pretty much curled up onthe bench. It was amazing!!!

BUT, the only thing that ROYALLLLLLY Stunk is afterwards we went to a Walmart to get some beer and Champagne to celebrate. I was online with everyone, including my sister and her boyfriend who are both 20...AND THEY WOULDN'T SELL IT TO US!!! I am 25, my FH is 27 and my friend is 24. I was LIVID!! We ended up getting beer at 7-11 no problem but it was the point of the matter!!

It was all made better the last night of the vacation when we went to dinner at Wispering Caynon cafe in the fort wilderness hotel and the waitress brought out two champagne flutes with stawberries for us at no charge when she saw my ring. I was happy as a clam and totally didn't want to come back to NYC the next day!
